About Project
Inspiration
The inspiration to write the project was to be a candle for those girls who live in social protection houses. This was also the starting point to design the logo with two candles and a little girl.
Girls who grove up in Child Protection Societies live in lower standards, have less opportunity either in employment or other aspects of social life. They are not capable of living independently when they have to leave the houses by 18.
As these girls go out of the society they have to face various problems such as social exclusion and stigmatization, as well as psychological and personal problems.
Although there are good examples too as institutional problems, these girls and society at large need social platforms to discuss the problems of those girls as a target group. Due to this and similar problems there is a need for a multifaceted program to enable the adaptation of the target group to the society and transcend the boundaries of social stigmatization. In order to achieve a healthy young generation, these girls need to be given the opportunity to develop and to improve their capacity as well as transform their societies and their perceptions in the society.
Let's all be a candle for future…
